Founded in Brisbane in 1917, our company has been a trusted provider of both general and specialized Marine Surveying and Advisory Services, renowned for our commitment to quality and integrity within the Shipping Industry.
Expertise
We possess comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of safe cargo transport, including General, Heavy Lift, Containerized, Refrigerated, and Dry Bulk Cargoes, as well as the associated stevedoring practices. Our extensive experience spans the Bulk Oil, Chemical, and Liquid Component trades.
Preferred Partners
We are the Preferred Surveyors for numerous P & I Clubs, Hull and Machinery Underwriters, and their correspondents. We frequently undertake surveys for these entities through their legal representatives and agents in Australia and occasionally in the Southwest Pacific Region.
Professional Services
As professional seafarers, our qualifications and extensive experience enable us to thoroughly investigate marine incidents. We are also frequently called upon to provide technical advice in cases involving pending or threatened litigation.
Our consultative work includes collaboration with Port Authorities, Shipping Companies, and the Oil and Mining Industries. Additionally, we offer ISM advice and Audit services to the Marine Industry.

We are ISO 9001 Quality Endorsed by ECAAS. Our Policy and Quality Management System ensures that we do not use subcontractors except under clearly defined guidelines and with prior client approval, guaranteeing competent and professional representation at all times.
We are also an ISNetworld Compliant Contractor / Member for Oil Majors and proud members of the Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors (AIMS).
Our Team
Our team comprises six highly qualified Surveyors, whose qualifications and experiences are detailed on the ‘About Us’ page. We are dedicated to the comprehensive training and mentoring of our Surveyors and prospective partners through a formal in-house program, supplemented by additional training with educational institutions as necessary. This program is audited annually by ECCAS as part of our Quality Management System.
